Annual Easter Egg-stravaganza at Rawhide Western Town

Celebrate Easter in the wild west this year! Join other families at Rawhide Western Town for their annual Rawhide Easter Egg-stravaganza, sponsored by Whataburger. This fun event is popular with families, as the entire town has fun for everyone. The theme of this year’s Easter celebration is Candyland, and it will take place Sunday, April 21st from 10am- 6pm.


Egg hunts will be taking place throughout the day, separated by age level. With over 15,000 eggs hidden, there should be something for all.

Hunt Schedule:

1-4 year olds: Mission Patio @ 11am and 2:30pm

5-8 year olds: Chuck Wagon Plaza @ 11am and 2:30pm

All Ages Golden Egg Hunt: Riverwalk Lawn @ 4:00pm


Of course, Easter celebrations wouldn’t be complete without some good food. The annual Rawhide Easter Buffet will be open at 10am. Last seatings will be at 4:30pm. Reservations are required, and can be scheduled by visiting this link.

There are foods for the adults, as well as menu items that kids will appreciate. The menu looks delicious and can be found here.

Buffet pricing:

Adults $25.95 per person + tax

Kids ages 4-12 $9.95 per person + tax


While you’re there, make sure to enjoy the fun activities Rawhide Western Town has. Ride the Rawhide Express Train, bumper cars or kiddie train. Play on the Sugar Bounce, and Farm Bounce. Visit the Candy Corral, Pirate Ship and Petting Zoo. Then, grab a friend and try out the balloon toss at 3:30pm. If a buffet isn’t your style, there will be other grab and go food options available in the town.

Wristbands and tickets for Rawhide attractions and shows available at an additional fee and can be purchased on location.

$5 parking fee
