What's happening in Tolleson?
1. Create Creeper Keychain- Participants will create a hand sewn Minecraft inspired keychain. Kids K-2 will be stitching with a plastic needle and pre-punched pattern. Kids 3rd-4th will be sewing with a blunt metal needle and an unpunched pattern. May 7, 2021 at 4:00pm. You must register online here for the craft to get the Zoom link.
2. Create a llama inspired by Fortnite. Kids will be using a sharp needle. May 14, 2021 at 4:00pm. You must register online here to get the Zoom link. This class is best for older kids with sewing experience or a great attention to detail. 5th-8th graders
3. T-Town Madness NBA 2K21- This is a 16 player tournament where you can show off your skills in NBA 2K21. Games will be played on Zoom calls. The tournament will take place from May 24-28th at 5pm each day. Registration is open now through May 20. Limited spots, bracket style tournament. More information
4. Art Classes for Kids- Each Friday, join a Zoom group for a guided art project inspired by famous artists. Supplies are provided. Kids 8 and older. To sign up, call (623) 936-2746 or email library3@tollesonaz.org.
5. Zoom Babytime- Every Monday, you and your baby can join the Zoom group for stories, songs, rhymes, and playing. This is best for kids 0-2 years and their caregivers. To sign up, call (623) 936-2746 or email library3@tollesonaz.org.
6. Zoom Toddler Storytime- Every Wednesday at 11am- Join a Zoom feed for stories, songs, rhymes, and live interaction. Toddler Story Time is for kids 2-3. Please call (623) 936-2746 or email library3@tollesonaz.org to receive the private Zoom link. No Zoom account required to attend. Zoom storytimes are also live streamed to their Facebook page!
7. Zoom Preschool Storytime- Every Thursday at 11am- Stories, songs, rhymes, and live interaction for kids 3-5. To sign up and receive the Zoom link, please call (623) 936-2746 or email library3@tollesonaz.org. Zoom storytimes are also streamed on FB Live.
